TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
