TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown
TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker this new, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is there for bots but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the thing that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. But be part of your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
